Basic Pickleball Rules

Serve Underhand

You score only when you are serving. You only get 1 serve.

Serve Side

Serve cross court from right-hand court when your score is an even number, and from left-hand court for an uneven number.

At start of play

On both the serve, and return of serve, the ball needs to bounce once.

No Kitchen volleys

You can’t play a volley from inside the kitchen area.

Play to 11 points

First player to get to 11 points win. You have to win by 2 points.

Respect & Courtesy

Exhibit respect and courtesy towards others at all times. Please respect the facility, maintaining cleanliness and order during your use.

Equipment Care

Users are responsible for looking after the paddles and balls provided. Please handle all equipment with care to prevent damage or loss

Booking & Court Usage

The court is available for booking every hour on the hour. Each booking entitles you to 50 minutes of playtime. Bookings MUST be made in advance and are subject to availability.

Timeliness

Players are expected to arrive on time for their bookings. In consideration of others, please ensure timely vacating of the court.

Compliance with rules

Players must comply with all posted rules and regulations and follow the instructions of the court staff.
